ACPH
Rueckert Advertising is partnering with The Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (ACPHS) on its $6 million “Beyond Practice Ready” campaign, which aims to ensure that ACPHS students have the versatility, adaptability and entrepreneurial spirit needed to meet the emerging workplace needs of a dynamic healthcare system. The initiative centers around the creation of two student-operated pharmacies, the first of their kind in New York state; active learning classrooms that help students become actively engaged in their own learning; and, the development of hybrid and online certificate programs that meet emerging workforce needs.
Partnering with ACPHS’ Office of Institutional Advancement, we have significantly increased regional visibility of the campaign by orchestrating a series of well-attended press events. We have also secured numerous media interviews discussing how ACPHS graduates must not only be able to operate within the profession of today, but also be flexible to adapt to a changing workforce landscape. Stories have appeared on WNYT-13, CBS6, WTEN, Spectrum News, ION Network, WAMC-FM (NPR), iHeartMedia Albany, WVCR-FM, Times Union, The Daily Gazette, The Saratogian, Troy Record, Albany Business Review, regional public access shows, as well as in pharmacy trade publications.
In an effort to keep ACPHS’ alumni and potential donors informed about the campaign, we also shot and produced an informative three-minute video introducing College Parkside Pharmacy in downtown Albany. Additionally, we produced a dynamic public affairs show titled Dialogues with Dewey. During these segments, ACPHS President Dr. Greg Dewey — along with faculty, staff, administrators and students — explore the campaign in greater detail. Video segments were emailed to alumni/donors, posted on the school’s website and shared via social media.
