Meet our team

Dean Rueckert
President

Dean is the President of Rueckert Advertising, which he started in 1991. He is the account supervisor for a number of retail, manufacturing and healthcare accounts. He oversees the business side of the agency and supervises all production.

Prior to establishing Rueckert Advertising, he was vice president of account services for a leading Albany advertising agency, and previously established and managed a full service in-house agency for an international $65 million corporation. In total, he has more than 40 years' experience in the ad business.

Dean has served on the boards of many community organizations and for two decades served in public office as a town councilman and county legislator. He is a member of the New York Capital Region Chapter of the American Marketing Association. Dean was recently appointed to the Youth for Christ International board of trustees. In 2004 he was honored with the Albany Ad Club's Distinguished Service Award.

Chris Rueckert
Vice President

Chris Rueckert is vice president of Rueckert Advertising. He is responsible for overseeing the agency’s in-house accounts, as well as assisting in new business initiatives. Chris has worked with clients such as SUNY Cobleskill, SUNY Delhi, The New York State Department of Health, HESC, Freihofer’s Baking Company, FASNY, 1st National Bank of Scotia, Capital District Youth for Christ, Capital District YMCA, ICRH LLP, Albany Law School, docSTAR, STS Steel, Auto/Mate, and The American College of Surgeons.

Chris came to the agency in 2002 after spending seven years as COO at Zeppelin Marine, a Jupiter, Florida-based manufacturer of SportPort™ — a drive-on docking system for boats and personal watercraft.

While at Zeppelin Marine, he ran the company’s day-to-day operations. In addition to manufacturing, design and sales responsibilities, Chris handled the company’s marketing efforts, including strategic planning, advertising, mass media and trade shows, and worked to establish dealers and distributors both nationally and globally.

The elder son of Rueckert Advertising President Dean Rueckert, Chris has sat on boards of the North Albany YMCA and Southern Saratoga Chamber, is a member of the NY Capital Region Chapter of the American Marketing Association, and currently sits on the Our Savior’s Lutheran School Board and other committees.

Edward Parham
Vice President of Public Relations/Senior Copywriter

Edward is responsible for advising Rueckert Advertising’s clients on all public relations matters, including counseling, targeted communications activities, public affairs, crisis management, and special event work. He also serves as the agency’s primary copywriter.

His client roster includes: Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, American Diabetes Association, First Columbia, 1st National Bank of Scotia, Freihofer’s Run for Women, The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing at Guilderland, Hometown Health Centers, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, The Meadows at Glenwyck, The Summit at Saratoga and Troy Turkey Trot.

Edward’s work on behalf of his clients has been honored for its effectiveness on numerous occasion by the local chapters of the American Marketing Association and Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). He was recently recognized with PRSA’s (Capital Region Chapter) Outstanding Practitioner Award. The annual honor is given to a Capital Region public relations professional who has achieved exceptional success, displayed the highest ethics and is dedicated to serving the community and the profession.

Before joining the agency, Edward served as director of community relations for the American Lung Association of Central New York. Prior to that, he was director of public relations for Major League Soccer’s bid committee in Boston, and assistant press officer for World Cup USA 1994/Boston venue, where he provided media relations support for hundreds of international media outlets.

A native of England, Edward began his writing career as a newspaper reporter and has had articles published in a variety of publications, including The Christian Science Monitor, the Syracuse Herald-Journal, and the Watertown Daily Times (NY). He later served as staff writer at The College of Saint Rose, where he researched, wrote and edited articles for award-winning magazines, annual reports, newsletters, speeches, and various recruitment publications. Edward has also written for St. Lawrence University’s Communications Office.

He is a graduate of St. Lawrence University and holds a master’s degree in mass communication from Boston University. Edward is active with the American Marketing Association (NY Capital Region Chapter) and a former member of PRSA’s (Capital Region Chapter) board of directors.

Linda Mather
Director of Marketing

Linda, who joined Rueckert Advertising & Public Relations, Inc. in 2011, has 20 years of experience developing and implementing marketing plans for clients in the business-to-business, higher education and non-profit sectors.

At Rueckert Advertising, Linda is responsible for pursuing new business opportunities and managing accounts. Toward that end, she develops strategic marketing plans, provides leadership to the agency's team through the tactical execution of client projects, as well as serves as the primary liaison between agency team members and clients.

Prior to joining Rueckert Advertising, she held account management positions at other Capital Region marketing firms, where she managed an array of clients, including AWS Truepower, Siemens, Plug Power, SUNY Plattsburgh and Empire State College.

Linda is a past president of the NY Capital Region chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMA). In 2005,The Business Review recognized her as a "40 under Forty" award winner for her business accomplishments and community involvement. 

She is a graduate of St. Bonaventure University and holds an MBA from The College of Saint Rose, giving her the necessary blend of academic expertise and hands-on experience to help her clients achieve success.

Jason Rueckert
Art Director/Vice President

Jason Rueckert is the senior art director at Rueckert Advertising. Having come to the agency in 2006, he spearheads efforts to develop eye-catching graphics and creative concepts for clients such as the Freihofer’s Run for Women, Troy Turkey Trot, First National Bank of Scotia, Ag & Markets, Capital Bank and Trust, Youth for Christ, SUNY Delhi, St. Mary’s Healthcare of Amsterdam, Northern Rivers, State Tel, Dooley Intermed, Hometown Health, Albany College of Pharmacy, and JDRF.

For the Freihofer’s Run for Women, Jason designs all banners, signs, street stencil, t-shirts, advertisements, and outdoor boards. The agency’s comprehensive efforts for this prestigious event have garnered awards including the PRSA (Capital Region Chapter) Empire Awards’ “Best in Show” (2011), first place in the “Integrated Campaign” (2008), and the AMA’s (Capital Region Chapter) “Mark of Excellence” award (2010).

Jason’s work on behalf of St. Mary’s Healthcare of Amsterdam includes concepting and storyboarding various TV commercials. He is also responsible for the creative development of the hospital’s ads, landing page and outdoor advertisements.

Prior to working at Rueckert Advertising, Jason spent six years in various agency and corporate settings in Florida. Most recently he was employed as a senior designer at Office Depot, Inc. — one of the world's largest sellers of office products — leading the company's corporate collateral direct mail team.

Jason is a 2000 graduate of Savannah College of Art and Design with a BFA in graphic design.

Bob Schalit
Copywriter/Co-Creative Director

Bob is responsible for writing most print, broadcast and collateral copy for our agency, and for helping generate creative concepts for many clients.

Bob began his copywriting career at Beckman Associates Advertising in Albany, New York, where he served as assistant to the public information officer for the City of Albany. Subsequently he held writing positions at numerous Capital Region agencies, including Madison North Marketing Communications, DTV Advertising, Admark Associates, Communication & Design, DJ Moore, Nowak Associates and Fairbrother and Company.

Over the years, Bob has won numerous regional NORI awards and national recognition for excellence in advertising. He has donated his time and talents to community organizations including the Capital Region Chapter of the American Cancer Society, the Samaritans and Independent Living in the Capital District. He is also a past president of the Creative Club.

An Albany native, Bob is a graduate of SUNY at Binghamton, holding a bachelor’s degree in English Literature. He is a board member of the Upper Hudson Association of Phi Beta Kappa and was profiled in the 2004 edition of Who’s Who in America.

Kevin Brady
Web Programmer

Kevin Brady provides web programming services at Rueckert Advertising. Kevin’s specialties include developing dynamic, database-driven sites that require advanced content management systems. He also provides clients with web maintenance and marketing tools such SEO, SEM, e-newsletters and e-mail blasts, video and analysis.

Currently Kevin works with such clients as ICRH, HESC, NYHELPs, Harbor Point Mineral Products, SUNY Cobleskill and others.

Educated at Harvard and MIT, Kevin brings more than 20 years of web, programming and technical experience to the table. As director of business development for Focus One Media Group in the late 1990s, he closed several key deals that allowed the company to increase its revenues to more than $27 million, and successfully set up application development and quality assurance testing staff in New York City, San Francisco, Paris, and Geneva.

Noah Friedman
Videographer/Photographer

Noah is responsible for providing all of Rueckert Advertising’s in-house video and photography needs. He believes every project is unique and has a one-of-a-kind story waiting to be told. Through visual moving images, he aims to create and deliver impactful content that helps our clients tell inspirational stories around their brands. Noah is a graduate of Siena College in Loudonville, N.Y.

Steven Cass
Comptroller

Steven is a graduate of Clarkson University and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting and law.

He has worked at the agency for more than 15 years as comptroller. In addition to managing the company's finances, he works closely with the account team on numerous research projects and tracking our clients' budgets. For clients that require specialized reporting Steven produces customized reports to meet the clients' needs.
