Steve Heider of Colonie has been named chairman. Kelly Gibbons of Scotia, senior vice president and retail banking manager at 1st National Bank of Scotia, joined the board in January and is up for election to a full term.

“As a director, Steve brought a fresh perspective to agency leadership. As chairman, he is determined to take us to the next level by expanding our reach and further refining our insurance products and customer service,” said Scautub Agency CEO Robert Dieterich. “His experience as a small business owner will be invaluable as we look to strengthen our business presence.

“Kelly’s expertise is in delivering an exceptional customer service experience and streamlining operations,” said Dieterich, noting that she volunteers her time as coordinator of the Scotia Glenville Food Pantry and treasurer of the Capital District Bank Security Officers Association. “She will perfectly round out our leadership team and make the agency more accessible to banking customers and the general public.”
