Agency Provides PR/Marketing Services for 40th Annual Freihofer's Run for Women
Saturday, June 2, 2018 -- For the 22nd year running, Rueckert Advertising and Public Relations was proud to provide comprehensive marketing/public relations services for the Freihofer's Run for Women, one of the nation's most prestigious all-women road races, on Saturday, June 2 in downtown Albany.
Our approach relies heavily on proactive public relations strategies — press releases, media interviews, feature story pitches and a pre-race press conference — coupled with digital advertising and promotional spots aired on partner TV and radio stations. We also incorporate a strategic social media component featuring Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and YouTube to target potential runners. The agency designs all of the graphics associated with the Run for Women and its companion events — the Freihofer’s Kids’ Run, Freihofer’s Junior 3K and Freihofer's Health & Fitness Expo. These eye-catching visuals are displayed everywhere from newspaper/digital ads and entry brochures to t-shirts and the press conference backdrops.
More than 3,500 women from 22 states ranging in age from seven to 88 took part in the ruby anniversary event, which was was won by Sarah Pagano of Brighton, Mass., in 15:48.
