Thursday, March 10, 2022 -- According to a 2018 Financial Industry Regulatory Authority study, nearly two thirds of Americans were unable to pass a basic financial literacy test. The study, which surveyed more than 27,000 Americans, also revealed a growing financial literacy gap between different ethnic groups with white and asian adults showing more proficiency than black and Hispanic survey respondents when it comes to making financially responsible decisions.

Monday, Nov. 15, 2021 -- In a move designed to strengthen the future of Catholic education in the Capital Region, the Albany Diocesan School Board (ADSB), under the leadership of Bishop Edward B. Scharfenberger, today announced it will create a new school in Latham that will allow for a continuum of Catholic education from pre-K to 12th grade in one location. The new Catholic Central School is set to open its doors in September 2022.
