Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2018 -- Officials from the City of Troy gathered at the Troy Atrium this afternoon to award a $15,000 check from the Troy Turkey Trot to the event’s two charities, the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York and Joseph's House and Shelter, a Troy-based not- for-profit whose mission is to prevent and alleviate homelessness.

Based in Latham, N.Y., the Food Bank serves more than 1,000 food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, and other charitable feeding programs in 23 counties of upstate New York. It helps to feed nearly 300,000 people annually!
